Frequently Asked Questions

If paid in full, a  50% refund can be issued for  cancellations that are made 1week  before the due date of a custom order. Deposits are non refundable. We  do not refund any portion of the purchase price for orders canceled  less than a week before the due date and time.  We can however schedule another date for the order if possible at our discretion. 

We recommend order as soon as possible to make sure there is availability for what you need. We recommend ordering at least a week in advance for simpler designs and at least two weeks in advance for more complex designs in order to make sure materials arrive on time. 

To secure your date onto our calendar a 50% down payment is due. Deposits are non-refundable. 

2 weeks prior to the event: FINAL BALANCE MUST BE PAID. If order is placed within two weeks of the event, please plan for full payment to confirm your order. Orders under $100 will be required to be paid in full upon booking. 

You may place an order through the order form. The form will be sent to our email; info@boogiegotcakes.com  and we will respond within 48 hours. If for some reason you haven't got a response please send another email if you would like. We do not take order via DMs or text messages. 

Please look at our base pricing list for an idea and then use the order form for a quote. Cakes are typically priced by number of SERVINGS they feed + the LABOR for the design. The more detail or time required in labor cost, the more it’ll cost.  (Sometimes “simple” isn’t so simple, and “elaborate” is easier than you think, so just ask)

Fondant is a sugar-based covering for cakes that is a substitute for traditional icing. We make our own fondant from Fondx and Wilton brand blends, which has a soft, candy-like texture/taste.  We also use Satin Ice Fondant for customers with allergies. Fondant is useful for certain designs that cannot be neatly drawn. It is also useful for outdoor events where butter cream would melt.

We do not guarantee exact color matches, but we work hard to create a color that closely resembles the colors you provide. Please understand that colors often look somewhat different when printed from an e-mailed photograph. 

Although it is rare, you may not love the cake as much as I do. I pride myself in the work I produce, but as an artist, I know not everyone will love my work.  We do not offer refunds for customers that do not like the cake due to looks as we stay in communication with the customer before we create, but we do want to hear about your experience. Please leave a review or email us if you have any questions or concerns.

Yes, we offer delivery, though limited times so please be sure to ask about delivery if that is something you would like. We advise pickup unless you have a bigger cake or a wedding.  Please note that once the cake is out of my possession, you are responsible for the order. I will give you the best tips for driving and prepare the cake as best I can for a safe trip to your destination. Pick up location will be given once payment is completed. 

We offer many delicious recipes that fit into dietary restrictions and are very sanitary in our production; however, are not a 100% allergen-free kitchen. We operate in a facility that works with all of these allergens. Please inquire.
